www.roots-archives.com/latest_additions/I was just looking at the updates page above and noticed a slew of UB albums. Now these aren't obscure releases that have only just been discovered so the RA team must've decided after all these years that UB40 are a reggae band. Appropriately at this time, they've added a pair of Judge Dread albums. Who wants to plead the case for "Ricky" from Eastenders who did that smashing cover of Sugar's smashing cover of Michael Jackson's "Good Thing Going"?

I beleive that the site owners only include LP's they actually own. I guess they'd lost their UB40 LP's down the back of the sofa.
Seriously though I wouldn't argue against their inclusion, or Judge Dread for that matter. It's a funny one though as their self imposed nothing after 85 rule means that alot of great Root's LP's won't make the list where as Judge Dread and any number of others that were definitely not Roots do.

their self imposed nothing after 85 rule... .. although I have seen a fair few 1986 releases on there and maybe later? That 1985 rule was probably just a "fear of Sleng Teng" ting which has been slightly relaxed over the years. The white man has nothing to fear from digital. ;D Personally I wouldn't want to live in a world which was bereft of Sleng Teng, Tempo etc.

As they're starting to get a more thorough discography of the pre-85 releases I think they'll start expanding the years.
