No that IS tony singing, but he's singing over a version, and i am trying to find out who that instrumental is by. tony is off in thailand right now.

yes rasadam, im sure i have several cuts on that riddim i roy etc,but im struggling to remember the producer without acsess to my tunes,tho glen brown springs to mind i will try and dig them out over the next couple of days to have a look.

tony rankin seems to be into heavy wah wah effects. his latest cd is a jimi hendrix tribute, and then this tune on a riddim by keith hudson - the only jamaican producer i can think of that has used this frequently.

sorry to drag this out,
this version called War Dance [aka Bongo Riot] - The Soul Syndicate
seems to go into a hand drum binghi lead that is in the front of the mix
after the horn riff. i assume from the name its like a bongo herman mix? anyway is there another version of this that keeps the guitar chop up front in the mix the whole time and doesn't have the kette lead?
